By value, the listed 15 countries shipped 91.5% of global crushed/ground ginger exports in 2019.

Among the top exporters, the fastest-growing exporters of crushed or ground ginger since 2015 were: South Africa (up 149.4%), Spain (up 137.6%), Pakistan (up 115.4%) and Germany (up 70.3%).

Three countries posted declines in their sales of exported crushed or ground ginger: Vietnam (down -48.2%), United Kingdom (down -24.3%) and China (down -2.8%).
